"At first, acting was a way for me to escape, growing up there was a kind of social conditioning in better words a stigma. We were made to believe that expressing yourself as a young black man was a no, no that it was a sign of weakness in other words softness. However, acting allowed me to tap into a side of me that I never yet explored. It allowed me to be my true self without fear. Acting changed my life.
Now I see acting as a way for me to explore greater possibilities without limitations.
William Shakespeare penned it best when he said all the world a stage men and women are merely just players...
Acting represents life. Everyone has their role or part to play. You can just look around and see how people act out every day. Stella Adler made a profound statement; Acting is not just imitating everyday behaviour It's capturing the essence of it."
